By living in a fallen world
I pleasured when I could

My life was just a game to me

I used to do a lot of things
I used to smoke and drink

I never stopped to think

I did the things I knew were wrong
Yet all of them seemed right
But when I read John 3:17
I finally saw the light

And then I saw the writing
That was written on the wall
And it said to lie for Jesus
And to listen for His call

So I listened and I answered
By submitting unto Him
For my mind had been renewed to live
For Christ and not for sin

John 3:17
